If [Name] heard the tone in his voice, she obviously didn't show it. She took a few steps forward, a blush slowly rising to her face.

"Today… you're leaving right?" She asked nervously.

He silently nodded, waiting for her to say something else.

"… I really like you Holy Rome! I want to…. I want to come with you! So I'll be by your side! I'll never leave it either!" She blurted.

Holy Rome was shocked. [Name] liked him? She wanted… to be with him? No… He couldn't.

"I'm sorry [Name]… But I don't feel the same way… I only like you as a friend. I love somebody else…"

There was a long silence. Tears burned at the corners of [Name]'s [e/c] eyes. She wasn't going to cry, not in front of him.

"It's Italy isn't it? You love Italy… that's why… That's why you turned me down…" She mumbled, looking down at her feet. She didn't notice Holy Rome slowly approaching her.

"[Name]… Are you crying?" He said, barely above a whisper.

She quickly shook her head, blinking back the tears that threatened to slide down her face.

"[Name]… I'm sorry. But I hope we can still be friends." Holy Rome said, placing a hand on [Name]'s shoulder.

She sniffs and nods before asking again. "Is it Italy?"

"….."

The silence told her that it was. [Name] smiled.

"Go. Go and say good bye to Italy. If that is the one you love… then I'll accept that." She finally said, giving her friend a hug.

"…. Thank you [Name]… Good bye my friend." He hugged her back before running off in search of Italy.

"Good bye… Holy Rome…." She whispered.
